CEC was conceived in 1999 to promote and support a range of plant growth chambers and Environmental rooms within the UK and Ireland. Since then we have become the premium supplier of Plant Growth Chambers, ICH compliant Insect Chambers, Tissue Culture Chambers, Photobiology Chambers, Controlled Environmental Rooms (CER’s), LED Plant Growth Rooms and Racking Systems.

What we do at CEC

Due to the flexibility of the factory and the desire to work closely with clients we can and do manufacture many bespoke project specific chambers. CEC has delivered projects up to the value of £1.6 million and worked with Main Contractors to deliver these projects on time and within budget working within all the latest building regulations. CEC has worked under 4 Projects and to BREEAM with the view for continuously improving sustainability, delivering energy saving designs and lowering the carbon footprint while offering value for money.

To this end the factory opened a state of the art test facility (1000m²) next to the production facility (10,000m²) located in The Netherlands.

The factory is highly automated and continually reinvests in new manufacturing equipment that helps improve speed of manufacture, quality and design, e.g. the latest CNC machines, laser cutters and robotic grinders and polishers.
